Love Beautiful Friends Butterfly Chest Box

When Prima release their Winter CHA collections, Butterfly is the only collection that caught my eye... After much planing, finally I've done up a mixed media project with a little flutter and whim... Presenting here Love Beautiful Friends Butterfly mixed media altered chest box... Happening this end June and early July at Made with Love and only opening for a few seats due to the nature of this class...

You will get to learn how to transform a plain wooden chest box into a rich vintage purplish wash-out texturized box, as well as building some small little stuffs within the box... There will be lots of mixed media involved and you will get to learn not just how to apply the colours, but also how to creature texture and distressing using various colours and mediums... But be warned, this class has a lot of fussy cuttings and if you were someone who has a concern in cutting, it may not be suitable for you... However, that's where all the details are...

Below is the promotional collage and additional pictures of the project... I hope to see some of you around... Cheers!!!

Rococo; Marie's Sentimental Pouf Constructed Art Workshop

After teaching for coming to a year plus, I started to move towards to technique based teaching where I'll have more interaction with participants... It's also a channel for me to develop and share more interesting techniques and ideas to my fellow crafting peeps and make their mind blown away by the amount of creations I can develop...

As far as I'm concern, coming from an Artist's point of view I probably didn't get fairly paid for the amount of work done to bring these to the craft table... However, that's not my main agenda... What's really amazing during my entire craft teaching adventure is that I got to meet people who truly appreciate what I've done and the things I'm doing... This is one of my greatest accomplishments in life and no amount of my previous corporate years can compare to this...

For my next upcoming Prima class with Made with Love, I'm gearing away from the usual projects most people are doing. Influenced and inspired by Rococo, a form of late Baroque artistic movement, I'm taking Marie Antoinette's sentimental pouf as one of the main element for this project... It's not something overly done, yet subtly enough to own a little Rococo...

You will get to learn how to build and construct this hanger from scratch using wood plank and chipboards using Prima Epiphany paper collection and some images from Marie Takes Tea collage from Alpha Stamps... There'll be some mixed media involved and I'll be teaching to create a vintage baroque texture look using gilding wax... At the end of the day, you will take home this hanger which you will be able to use it as a decor piece for all your jewelry and accessories...

I hope to see some of you around...

Don't Forget to Fly Altered Glass Jar at Made with Love

Alright back with a new Prima class at Made with Love this coming end April and early May... I decided to take a month off to sort out my schedule... It seems like I'm forever that busy that 24hr a day don't seems to be enough for me...

For this upcoming class, I'll be showing you how to alter this glass jar from priming to finishing, as well as how to create sparkling texture onto the glass surfaces... During the class, I'll be sharing some useful tips in how to prep the glass surfaces before working and techniques in sealing the colours...

Gear Up! Mixed Media Box at Made with Love

Hello peeps,

I know I've not been updating. Things are seriously piling up and I was freaking busy last week... There's a lot of unplanned happenings together with an unexpected design meeting and interview, my emotions were on rollercoaster ride... Moreover I had recently accepted a DT offer from one of the Sweden manufacturers and had gotten my DT starter pack, I was super excited the moment I saw how pretty the papers are... Well, in time to come, I'll be sharing my debute works soon...

Phew!!! I hope things can get more lined up this week... Alright for my next upcoming Prima class at Made with Love, I'll be teaching how to create an antique worn out patina look using various Prima Art Basic mediums and paints... It's somehow similar to my patina snapguide tutorial, but I'll be showing how to create the look in a different way using paints instead of mists... It's going to be a little intensive so I'm opening to only 12 pax for 2 sessions...

I hope to see some of you around... Below is the promotional collage and more detail pictures on this project...

Upcoming Prima Classes at Made with Love

Alright it's 2015, a brand new year has come... For this new year, I've designed 2 mixed media Prima projects for Made with Love... Happening end January till early February...

Gearing away from teaching how to place design elements, these 2 projects are solely technically designed with a thought that you will learn something... So here it is, introducing 2 Prima classes - Quiet Moments mixed media mini album and Amour 3D-constructed mixed media shadow box frame... You will learn how to build the mini album from scratch and bind them together using altered pencils with modified bamboo tying.. For Amour, you will learn how to construct a shadow box frame and how to create and build up this velvety texture using various Finnabair's mixed media product range...

Below are more pictures for these 2 projects as well as the promotional collage with more information about these 2 classes... I hope to see you guys very soon...

Have a happy day ahead!!!

Cheers!!!

Upcoming Prima Class at Made with Love

It's coming to end of 2014, time really flies... To welcome 2015 and to offer more fresher inspirations, I've designed this mixed media altered notebook for my next upcoming Prima class at Made with Love... Happening this late December and early January next year...

For this time round, I'm shifting away from project-based lessons to technique-based classes, this is to ensure scrappers who attend my classes will get to learn something... I'd have to bring across to scrappers that this may not be a pure beginner's mixed media class as this involves creating of a vintage background before embellishing... There's intricate fussy cutting involve as well..

Below is the promotional collage and pictures of the project you will be learning and taking home... I hope to see you guys again!!!

Cheers!!!

Upcoming Prima Classes at Made with Love

Hey scrappers, my latest upcoing Prima classes this November at Made with Love, a Coffee Break mini album and a Bloom Girl mixed media canvas layout... The mini album is a pure beginner class where the placement of elements and some fussy cutting involve... It's actually a pre-empt class for scrappers who don't really know my style well especially in areas of cutting and paper utlization...

The next interesting class is a mixed media layout class using one of the Bloom Girl stamp... You will learn how to apply colours on the Bloom Girl using various Ingvild Bolme chalk edgers, as well as creating the background using various mixed media products from Prima... It'd be something fun... But I'd have to warn you guys that it's not a pure beginner class... If you can't really colour, you may face problems and there's some fussy cutting to be done prior in attending the class in order to maximize the 3hr workshop...

Below is the promotional collage and additional pictures... Hope to see some of you at class..

Cheers!!!
