Botanical Tea... An Altered Clock...

On one particular day when I was teaching at The Art Republic, I noticed the clock we had in our studio has a torn face... Not very eye pleasing but still able to accept it to a certain extend... However, when I'm back for my another teaching session, almost half of the face was gone... Hmmm... This started to irritate me quite a bit... So... It finally reached a stage it really irks me, I decided to do something to the clock...

The clock in the studio that I decided to alter it...

In conjunction with the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge, I altered the clock using mint, chocolate and latte acrylic paints together with Graphic 45 Botanical Tea paper collection, creating a peppermint vintage look... Oh hmmmm... Minty-baked from oven... How yummy is this??

The revived altered clock...

Closer look at the details... Notice a lady having tea in the pool of roses?

The peppermint weather-look... Yummy!!

Hands of the clock... Hello Friend!!!

The detail, the amazing fussy cutting, the awesome weathered finish and the whimsical touches (love the tea drinking lady!) just stole my heart! Absolutely fabulous, my dear! 9. This is an amazing transformation! I love when people can take "junk" and make something wonderful out of it! In America, we are so quick to throw things away and buy new. I just love recycling and upcycling things! This turned out BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for joining us at Craft Hoarders Anonymous!
